Story Construction

The origins of Story Group lie in civil engineering (Story Construction Ltd), which continues to be the cornerstone of our operations. Story Construction has considerable resources in this field and undertakes all types of civil engineering and construction projects from minor remedial works to multi-million pound infrastructure schemes. We excel in the provision of ground works and are renowned for constructing commercial and industrial buildings ‘on time, on budget’. We have offices in Carlisle, Glasgow, Dumfries and Newcastle providing operational bases for both Central and Southern Scotland and North East England respectively.

Story Rail

Story Rail is a major rail infrastructure contractor and being part of Story Group adds a dimension to our capability that few other rail contractors can match. We have access to resources which enables Story Rail to undertake a vast array of track renewal and rail related civil engineering projects of impressive scope. Our rail interests see us working throughout the UK. Our portfolio includes:

Story Land is a major player in the development and acquisition of strategic land in the north west. Our Land division specialises in residential land development and regeneration. Our experienced development team includes RTPI Chartered Town Planners, Surveyors, Engineers and Project Managers, all supported by the Story Group.
