Whitehaven RLFC Respect Presentation

Whitehaven RLFC u14 Scholarship Players and Staff, sponsored by the Story Group, attended a 'RESPECT' presentation held at Whitehaven RLFC on Monday 1st February. The evening was presented by Peter Wharton, the RFL's Match Officials Development Officer for the region. The evening revolved around RFL's 'RESPECT' programme, which is a code of conduct for players, coaches, match officials, spectators and volunteers within the game of rugby league and with the conclusion of the evening everybody attending had a better understanding of what their roles and responsibilities they have within the game of rugby league.

The Story Group are also involved with Cumbria Constabulary's 'Give Respect, Get Respect' campaign. We want to be a part of helping create safer, stronger communities; our values are in keeping with the values of the campaign. We uphold a policy of communicating with customers and colleagues and respecting their views and the contribution they make.
